See and enjoy the historic River Thames from a different perspective. There are many boats available for hire on the Thames including sailing barges, replica paddle steamers and pleasure crafts for up to 500 guests.

Millennium Sails are experts in providing the ultimate experience. Historical speakers can tell you tales of London past, present and even future, a jazz trio can create a relaxed atmosphere whilst you sip champagne as you sail under Tower Bridge or why not theme your event? Have a Midsummer Party, a Caribbean Carnival or even a Guy Fawkes Celebration.

Clay Pigeon Shoot – enjoy this time old tradition with a twist. Take aim as we drop anchor in the centre of the Thames just past the Thames Flood Barrier and shoot from the bow of the boat, followed by a relaxing lunch with fine wines. The winner is presented with an engraved hip flask as a memento of the day.

Historical Pub Tour – after lunch, stop off at several of London's historical Thames hostelries including The Angel – a public house frequented by Samuel Pepys, and The Prospect of Whitby – a favourite of Charles Dickens and Turner, who used to paint from the veranda. The final port of call could be the Mayflower – an establishment visited regularly by the Captain and crew of the very ship from which this hostelry takes its name. Enjoy a complimentary drink in each establishment visited.

Sailing in the Thames Estuary – hold your event on one of the historical Thames sailing barges and enjoy a cruise with a difference. As you pass through the Thames Flood Barrier, the excitement really begins as we hoist the sails. It is entirely up to you and your party whether you choose to join in by participating fully in sailing this wonderful vessel or you could sit back and relax and allow the crew to take over whilst you enjoy the sensational feeling of real sailing.

Treasure Hunt – this is a great team building activity both on water and land taking in many of the historical landmarks along the river and meeting up with the ‘mystery men' ashore to gather additional clues and information.
